Opinion: SEACC donation page should reflect legal spending

When you click on the “donate” tab on the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council’s website, you are met with the following message:

“Thank you for your continued support and helping us protect the planet’s last large temperate rainforest, salmon runs, and our communities that rely on the Tongass National Forest and Inside Passage Waters!”

Perhaps they should update it to include the likely tens of thousands of dollars spent on a union-busting law firm. It’s only fair to donors to be honest about how their donations are truly being spent.
