I’m a senior who can afford to pay taxes, thanks my government retirement. I think there are a lot of us in Juneau who can claim the same. It was courage of Assemblywoman Karen Crane to support the elimination of some of the senior taxes when our budget was in crisis. Why should I get to pay less at the cash-out than the struggling, single mom in line behind me? I’m voting for Karen Crane on March 15!
