I recently experienced a relatively serious chest injury and received treatment at Bartlett Regional Hospital. My hospital treatment services included the emergency department, diagnostic imaging (CT scan), the intensive care unit, the medical/surgical unit and respiratory therapy. The care I received in every one of these departments/units was excellent. I especially appreciate the friendly, caring, professionalism of: Drs. Jones in the emergency department and Dr. Yost, the surgeon: RNs Keith, Janie, and Kim, and CNA Jacob in the ICU; RNs Reid, Amber, and Jessica, and CNAs Kasi and Gabe in the medical/surgical unit; and respiratory therapist David. Apologies to others whose names I neglected to get. We are truly fortunate to have an excellent community hospital in Juneau.
