We would like to voice our support for Cathy Muñoz, who is running as one of Juneau’s state representatives this November. Here are two important reasons to support Cathy:
1) She serves all the people of Juneau from a position of power on the House Finance Committee. She has been very effective in keeping the capital move issue at bay, and has successfully brought state investment spending that has kept our capital city modern, vibrant and a great place to live and work.
2) We expect a Republican majority to return to the Alaska House in November, and it will be in Juneau’s best interest to re-elect Cathy as the representative in our delegation who will be a senior member of that majority.
Although we no longer reside in House District 34, it was home to us for many years. Cathy has always been responsive to the people living in her district — and all of Juneau — and we believe she is an excellent legislator.
