Judging from their statements, the leaders of the NRA want everyone to carry weapons. They apparently believe that more weapons will make us safer. But when you consider that the only other place where citizens carry weapons to that extent is a war zone, it would appear the NRA wants to turn America into a war zone. Is that what you want? Do you want to live in a country where if you accidentally cut off another driver they may pull up beside you and begin shooting? How can this be a better America? Is this what the Second Amendment is all about? Being able to shoot anyone you please? We need to elect representatives and Congressmen who support reasonable regulation of guns so that we can all feel safer.
