I’m supporting Paul Kelly for CBJ Assembly. Here’s why

He is a lifelong Alaskan who has been active in the Juneau community since 2017

Paul Kelly is my choice for Assembly for District 1. Kelly is a lifelong Alaskan who has been active in the Juneau community since 2017. He has served on the school board for the past three years and he understands firsthand the responsibilities of elected office and the demands of working in a leadership position. Kelly knows the importance of repairing our aging infrastructure and public facilities. He supports expanding independent and cultural tourism and attracting events like the 2022 Iron Man that was recently announced. Kelly upports renewable energy and having the city lead by example by purchasing electric vehicles and supporting residential and commercial use of heat pumps. Kelly supports training and education from preschool and K-12 through trade programs and the university system. Having served on the School Board he is committed to our local schools and quality education for Juneau’s children. At the other end of the spectrum, Kelly is committed to Juneau’s Seniors. Juneau’s Senior population contributes to the Juneau economy and quality of life through donations and volunteer activities across the community. Kelly understands the importance of having age-friendly facilities and policies that will help seniors age in Juneau while they continue to be productive members of our community. Kelly listens. As an Assembly Member he will continue to tune into the needs and wishes of Juneau residents and will advocate for what is best to keep Juneau moving forward.
