I would like to take a moment to share the reasons why I’m voting for Paul Kelly for Juneau Assembly, District 1.
1) Kelly is naturally a civic-minded person.
He genuinely cares about his community, his state, and his country. He has given his time and energy to a variety of causes and organizations, including the ASEA Union, the Juneau School Board, others’ political campaigns, the legislature, and his current employment as a civil servant. He deeply cares about Juneau’s people, their needs, their concerns, and their health and welfare.
2) Kelly is knowledgeable and curious.
Because of his interest in the welfare of our community and its people, he very knowledgeable about current affairs, especially local issues. Most importantly, he is never afraid to take the time to research, think, collect his thoughts and present his conclusions and opinions based on the facts and nuances of each situation.
3) Kelly has conviction and humility.
He is an excellent listener and enjoys lively conversations and debates. While he has strong convictions and stands by them, he’s always willing to listen to all sides, and is flexible enough to change his mind when presented with new information.
He will help our community grow where it needs it and repair what might be broken. I ask you to support Kelly for District 1.
