Annual SOFA auction taking place Saturday

Charitable Juneauites will have a chance to bid on items from local artists, businesses and individuals this weekend to benefit the Southeast Alaska Organization for Animals

SOFA’s fifth annual silent auction is taking place at 6 p.m. Saturday at Dzanti’i Heeni Middle School on Renninger Street in the Mendenhall Valley. The theme is Welcome to Outer Space, and anyone is welcome to attend. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door. Tickets can be bought at www.aksofa.org/event2018.

The event is expected to last until 10 p.m. SOFA is an organization committed to ending homelessness, abandonment, abuse and neglect of domestic animals in Southeast through education, advocacy, community service and better access to veterinarians.
