Thunder Mountain High School clinched the Region V top seed with back-to-back wins over Juneau-Douglas High School during the weekend. The Falcons defeated the Crimson Bears 14-8 on Friday, and then 7-4 on Saturday. Both teams finished with 7-5 conference records, and TM won the tie-breaker for the top spot. JDHS will get the No. 2 seed. Kayhi finished third in the conference with a 6-6 record.
