The inaugural Healing Hand Foundation 5-kilometer run is Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Twin Lakes Shelter.
There is also a 1-mile walk. The 5K is $10; the 1-mile walk is $5. Kids are $5 for either race. Online registration is available through www.hhf-ak.org.
The Healing Hand Foundation supports medical and health care-related needs of Alaska Natives and veterans.
