The Learning Connection is hosting an open house on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 5 p.m. to celebrate the new year and new resolutions.

The public is invited to join TLC to learn about education opportunities, register for classes, tutoring, GED prep, employment training, youth job placement, driver training and career guidance. It’s also a chance to meet supportive staff members.

Refreshments will be served, and prizes will also be available, including ski/snowboarding lessons from Eaglecrest Ski Area, a scholarship for AK Drive, pool/rink passes, a month gym pass, and more.

The Learning Connection is a program of SERRC, an educational resource center that provides free classes and tutoring for adults. TLC is located at 210 Ferry Way in downtown Juneau.
