During Southeast Alaska Food Bank’s annual meeting, local chefs from around town will come together to prepare a special lunch made only by food on hand at the bank. The only outside items allowed will be butter, oil and spices.

This lunch, happening on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, is designed to raise a variety of questions such as: What will be served, can a balanced meal be prepared and what were the obstacles?

The public is invited to attend and sample the food and then discuss the results.
