Assault

• At 5:48 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive and arrested Ricardo Willard, 51, for assault; he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center on $500 bail.

• At 9:27 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to an assault report in the 4400 block of Kanata Street; investigation continues.

Domestic dispute

• At 6:55 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to a domestic dispute in the Juneau area and arrested a man for domestic violence assault; he was taken to LCCC.

Fire and medical

On Monday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to eight EMS calls and two medical transports in the area throughout the day. At 2:38 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a fire alarm on Auke Lake that had been triggered by building construction.

Sex assault

• At 8:35 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area; investigation continues.

Shoplifting

• At 1:58 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a reported shoplifting from Safeway.

• At 4:18 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of shoplifting from the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

Suicidal subject

• At 6:50 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of a suicidal subject in the Juneau area and took the man for an involuntary mental health hold to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Theft

• At 1:29 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report from a 40-year-old woman on Engineers Cutoff Road regarding the theft of an iPhone valued at $800 and sunglasses worth $200.

Trespassing

• At 8:57 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a trespassing report in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue.

Vehicle rifling

• At 10:45 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report by a 23-year-old man in the 300 block of Second Street that items had been stolen out of his truck.
