Burglary

• At 2:16 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a burglary of a storage unit, and vandalism to the locking system, in the 1400 block of Harbor Way. Investigation continues.

• At 5:34 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a burglary and theft from a residence in the 200 block of Front Street. Investigation continues.

• At 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a burglary in the 4400 block of Sesame Street. Investigation continues.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 12 EMS calls around town throughout the day, and two medical transports. At 5:38 a.m., firefighters were dispatched for the smell of gas in a building on Hospital Drive, but were unable to locate the smell. At 10:35 a.m., firefighters were dispatched for a fuel spill on Shell Simmons Drive; the spill had been taken care of by maintenance personnel.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 5:33 p.m. Monday, JPD took a report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run in the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue, with a Ford F350 sustaining an estimated $2,000 in damage.

Shoplifting

• At 4:58 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report at a business in the Nugget Mall. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 6:43 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of vandalism at a business in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.
