Assault

• At 2:49 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an assault on Egan Drive; investigation continues.

• At 8:21 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of an attempted robbery and an assault that caused a minor injury in the 100 block of Marine Way; investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 12:17 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested a 42-year-old man in the Juneau area for violating a domestic violence protective order; he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Deceased person

• At 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a 49-year-old man found deceased in his residence in the Juneau area; the death was not considered suspicious.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 13 EMS calls and five medical transports in the area throughout the day.

Fraud

• At 11:49 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of fraud in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Shoplifting

• At 3:42 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a reported shoplifting in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:15 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway and cited Derek Nolin, 45, for concealment of merchandise.

• At 4:59 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a reported shoplifting in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

• At 1:18 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a reported theft in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway; investigation continues.

• At 4:09 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of trespassing and theft in the 5400 block of Glacier Highway.

Vehicle rifling

• At 10:02 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report from a 40-year-old man in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue that his checkbook was stolen from his vehicle some time during the night.
