Assault

• At 4:35 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an assault involving minors in the 2800 block of Postal Way; investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 4:22 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of an assault in the Juneau area and arrested a man for domestic violence assault; alcohol was involved. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Fire and medical

• At 6:40 p.m. Monday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to a report of a man who had fallen on the cliffs near the Shrine of St. Therese and had a possible broken ankle. When units arrived on scene, the man was found on the rocks near the shoreline; he was evacuated and taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 10:12 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 10000 block of Douglas Highway. The suspected driver had left the scene but was located and interviewed; charges of reckless driving will be forwarded to the city attorney’s office.

• At 11:42 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of a hit and run in the 2600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road; investigation continues.

Robbery

• At 11:45 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of a robbery in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive.

Shoplifting

• At 5:52 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue and cited John Felter Jr., 68, for larceny.

• At 10:23 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of concealment of merchandise in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road; investigation continues.

Theft

• At 3:30 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of an adult tricycle from the 1800 block of Northwood Drive, valued at around $100.

• At 2:07 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of a theft in the 4400 block of Trafalgar Avenue; investigation continues.

• At 11:13 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a reported theft in the 100 block of Franklin Street; investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 2:05 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a trespassing report in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway; investigation continues.

• At 5:31 p.m. Monday, JPD received a trespassing report from the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue and cited Eric Rivera, 23, for returning to a business for which he had previously been issued a trespass letter.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:10 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report from a 53-year-old man in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue that his vehicle had been rifled; he had been able to recover the items that were taken.

• At 7:14 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report from a 47-year-old woman in the 2800 block of Marsha Avenue that her vehicle had been rifled through.
