Assault

• At 12:18 a.m. Friday, Juneau Police Department arrested 42-year-old Ernest Fawcett Jr. for one count of assault and one count of harassment in the 100 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved. Fawcett was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Death

• At 11:18 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated the death of a 33-year-old male in the 5900 block of Churchill Way. Alcohol was involved. The death is not considered suspicious.

Domestic violence

• At 3:58 p.m. Thursday, JPD continued an investigation into a report of domestic violence harassment in the Juneau area.

Driving under the influence

• At 12:02 p.m. Thursday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers checked on the driver of a silver 2003 Subaru Impreza parked near mile 30 of Glacier Highway. Investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Norman Mickelson, 36, was driving under the influence. JPD arrested Mickelson for DUI and transported him to LCCC.

Littering

• At 2:52 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 28-year-old David Paul for a littering violation in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway. Paul was transported to LCCC.

Theft

• At 12:53 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a theft at the North Douglas Boat Launch.

• At 2:08 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a theft in the 10000 block of Camden Place; investigation continues.

• At 4:02 p.m. Thursday, JPD continued an investigation into a theft in the 3400 block of Tongass Boulevard.

• At 5:19 p.m. Thursday, JPD continued an investigation into a report of the fradulent use of a credit card in the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop.
