Assault

• At 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department arrested 56-year-old Jeffrey Carpenter was arrested for assault and criminal trespass at a local business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Carpenter was cited and released.

Burglary

• At 1:59 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a residential burglary in the 300 block of Seventh Street; investigation continues.

• At 10:26 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report from a 63-year-old woman of a theft in a residence in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive; investigation continues.

• At 11:29 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a burglary in the 200 block of Seventh Street; investigation continues.

Domestic dispute

• At 7:33 p.m. Monday, a 30-year-old was arrested and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center in a domestic violence dispute in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved.

• At 9:31 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of criminal trespass and the violation of a domestic violence protective order in the Juneau area; investigation continues.

Drunken driving

• At 7:22 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested 35-year-old Alana Gibb for driving under the influence in the vicinity of Stephens Richards Drive. Gibb’s vehicle was impounded.

Fraud

• At 2:09 Tuesday, JPD received a report of fraud in the Juneau area; investigation continues.

Fire and medical

• On Wednesday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded five Emergency Medical Service calls, one medical transport, one water rescue and one active fire alarm.

Sex crime

• At 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a sex crime in the Juneau area; a confidential investigation continues.

Theft

• At 12:50 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a stolen iPad in the 1200 block of Salmon Creek Lane; investigation continues.

• At 6:11 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a theft in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway; investigation continues.

• At 1:26 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of shoplifting at Sportsman’s Warehouse and arrested 28-year-old Paul Simpson for larceny. Simpson was cited and released.

• At 3:06 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of theft in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway; investigation continues.

• At 8 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a theft in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue; investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 1:01 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested 23-year-old Eric Rivera for criminal trespass on a business in the 100 block of Front Street. Rivera was cited and released.
