Assault

• At 4:38 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing on Egan Drive; investigation continues.

Burglary

• At 6:59 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a reported burglary and theft in the 2100 block of Radcliffe Road.

• At 8:02 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a burglary report from a 40-year-old woman in the 400 block of Franklin Street.

Conditions violation

• At 2:54 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a violation of a stalking protective order in the Juneau area.

Crabbing violation

• On Aug. 11, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Sitka contacted Louis Hoock, 33, of Juneau, and James Good, 34, of Oregon, in Peril Strait. Hoock reportedly had retained 20 under size Dungeness crab and Good had retained three under size Dungeness crab. Hoock was cited for under size personal use Dungeness, with a fine set at $510. Good was cited for under size sport Dungeness with the fine set at $170.

Drug activity

• At 9:26 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

Fire and medical

• On Wednesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to nine EMS calls and five medical transports in the area throughout the day. At 9:58 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a fire alarm on Harris Street triggered by building maintenance.

Fishing violation

• On Sunday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Sitka contacted Paul Zahasky, 56, of Juneau, near Killisnoo Island. Investigation revealed Zahasky was allegedly sport fishing for salmon using more than one line; he was cited with bail set at $110.

Shoplifting

• At 10:52 a.m. Wednesday, JPD cited Patrick Kane Jr., 39, for concealment of merchandise in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

Theft

• At 1:44 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a stolen check in the Juneau area.

• At 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a theft report from a 49-year-old woman in the 100 block of Seward Street; investigation continues.

• At 7:01 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a theft in the 400 block of Harris Street.

• At 7:16 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a theft in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of theft in the Juneau area.

Trespassing

• At 8:37 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of criminal trespass at the Glory Hole in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report from a 75-year-old woman in the 2000 block of Skaters Cabin Road that $375 in items had been stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
