Police calls for Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019

Assault

• At 9:54 a.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 200 block of Front Street to a 26-year-old man’s report of an assault. Investigation continues.

Disturbance

• At 6:34 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 6500 block of Glacier Highway and arrested Johnnie Little George Johnson, 21, for criminal trespass, resisting arrest and violating conditions of release. Johnson was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic violence

• At 8:08 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the Juneau area to a fight between a 42-year-old man and 27-year-old woman. No arrests were made.

• At 9:58 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the Juneau area for a report by a 29-year-old woman that a 30-year-old man violated his domestic violence protective order.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 10:23 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 4300 block of Taku Boulevard to a 57-year-old man’s report that a 51-year-old man driving a City and Borough of Juneau grader was in a motor vehicle accident and damaged a 1997 Honda Accord.

Sex crime

• At 7:37 p.m. Sunday JPD responded to the Juneau area for investigation into a confidential report of a sexual assault.

Theft

• At 7:09 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 700 block of Calhoun Avenue to a 63-year-old man’s report that his green 1996 Subaru Impreza was stolen. The vehicle was later recovered.
