Death Investigation

At 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 55-old women. The death was not considered suspicious and next of kin was notified.

Directed Activity

At 10:34 p.m. on Sunday, 24-year-old Jasmine Ashley Long was arrested on Vintage Boulevard on two warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of trespass.

Police Assist

At 10:32 p.m. on Sunday, 19-year-old Levi James Woodbury was arrested on Thunder Mountain Road on a no-bail warrant for failure to report to Lemon Creek Correctional Center on an original charge of driving while intoxicated. Alcohol was a factor.

Theft

At 6:56 p.m. on Sunday, a white Ford van was reported stolen on Glacier Highway. The van was located and Kier Vergara (no date-of-birth or other identifying reported by JPD) was arrested for trespass and violating conditions of release.

Trespassing

At 8:14 p.m. on Sunday, a 46-year-old man was reported trespassing on Willoughby Avenue. Alcohol was a factor.

At 8:55 p.m. on Sunday, 39-year-old Shamar Lynn Ferguson was cited and released for trespassing on Amalga Street.
