Police calls for Monday, July 25, 2016

Burglary

• At 3:30 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Village Street. Investigation continues.

• At 4:31 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a burglary in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 5:18 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a burglary and theft in the 1500 block of Evergreen Avenue. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 12:03 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of domestic violence in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Fight

• At 2:41 a.m. Saturday, JPD created a case to document a fight in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

Sexual assault

• At 3:28 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area. Confidential investigation continues.

Theft

• At 8:02 p.m. Friday, a 19-year-old woman reported the theft of two bicycles, valued at approximately $180, from her home in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway sometime in the past week.

• At 7:59 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of theft from a business in the 400 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

Warrant served

• At 11:54 a.m. Saturday, Alaska State Troopers arrested Frank Brown, 53, at a residence on Birch Lane for failure to appear on the original charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held in lieu of a $500 bail.
