At 2:23 p.m. on Tuesday, a Ford F150 on Calhoun Avenue was impounded for safekeeping.

Motor Vehicle Crash without Injury

At 9:52 p.m. on Tuesday, a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 72-year-old man struck a parked Subaru occupied by a 59-year-old woman on Harbor Way.

Sex Crime

At 2:11 p.m. on Tuesday, Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into a report of sexual assault in the Juneau area.

At 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD received a report of a possible sexual assault in the Juneau area.

At 11:29 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of possible sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Suspicious Activity

At 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, 39-year-old Matthew Martinez was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive on four Alaska State Trooper warrants and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Theft

At 5:16 p.m. on Tuesday, 40-year-old Mark Alan Olsen was arrested and released for larceny on Auke Bay Harbor Road.

At 6:44 p.m. on Tuesday, a 70-year-old man reported items stolen from inside of a vehicle on Dimond Park Loop.

Welfare Check

At 8:26 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD attempted a welfare check and later found the subject deceased at a different location on Harbor Way. Next of kin has not been notified.
