Police calls for Friday, Aug. 4, 2023

For Friday, Aug. 4

Assault

At 2:59 p.m. on Friday, a woman was arrested for domestic violence assault. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Child Abuse

At 9:56 a.m. on Friday, the Juneau Police Department began a confidential report into possible child abuse.

Criminal Trespass

At 9:04 a.m. on Friday, 38-year-old Jarrod Briley was arrested on Savikko Road for criminal trespass. He was taken to LCCC.

At 10:50 a.m. on Friday, 23-year-old Brandon Bowhay was arrested on Gastineau Avenue on a $5,000 Alaska State Troopers warrant on an original count of second-degree burglary.

At 5:03 p.m. on Friday, 34-year-old Keoko Lillian Nelson was cited and released on Glacier Highway for criminal trespass.

Death Investigation

At 2:37 a.m. on Friday, JPD began an investigation into the death of a 60-year-old man. The circumstance of the death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin has been notified.

Theft

At 1:29 p.m. on Friday, 34-year-old Cory Kelly was cited and released on Glacier Highway for shoplifting.

Violating Conditions of Release

At 9:47 p.m. on Friday, a man was arrested for violating conditions of release and unlawful contact. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Warrant Arrest

At 8:32 p.m. on Friday, 48-year-old Rhonda Willard was arrested on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive on a $50 warrant for failure to appear on an original count of larceny. She was taken to LCCC.
