Death Investigation

At 1:43 p.m. on Friday, the Juneau Police Department initiated an investigation into a confidential report of a death. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Disturbance

At 11:36 p.m. on Friday, 49-year-old Luonda Jo Austin was arrested for assaulting a 44-year-old female on Teal Street. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Found Property

At 4:24 p.m. on Friday, a cell phone found on 3rd Street was turned in to JPD.

Harassment

At 10:20 a.m. on Friday, JPD responded to a harassment issue on Glacier Highway.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 1:50 a.m. on Friday, 41-year-old Justin Ridinger was arrested on Livingston Way on eight outstanding JPD warrants totaling $800. He was taken to LCCC.

Trespassing

At 6:45 a.m. on Friday, JPD responded to a report of a male trespassing on Vintage Boulevard.

At 1:15 p.m. on Friday, a 41-year-old female was arrested on Harbor Way for driving under the influence. Charges are pending after the state crime lab analyzes the blood sample.
