Juneau man indicted on 21 counts of child porn possession

A Juneau man was indicted in December on 21 counts of child pornography possession.

A grand jury indicted Joshua Youll, 21, alleging that Youll knowingly possessed or knowingly accessed a computer with intent to view child pornography — a class C felony — between February and June of 2017.

Of the counts, 20 allege the possession of video and one alleges possession of images. The grand jury handed down its indictment Dec. 21. Attorney David D. Mallet is representing Youll, and the next hearing in Youll’s case will be at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 6.

Youll is one of two area men indicted on child pornography charges in December, as Petersburg man Kanin Robert Grant — also known as Robert Carle — was indicted Dec. 14 on 12 counts related to child pornography possession. Grant, who also has outstanding warrants in Florida relating to animal cruelty allegations, is still at large.
