Thank you from Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the Juneau Elks Lodge Number 420 for sponsoring our annual picnic on Aug. 26 at Sandy Beach.

Thirty hardy folks braved the cool August temps to come together, celebrate our matches and eat some great food, prepared by the generous folks from the Elks.

This particular Elks Lodge has supported our matches over the past few years by sponsoring twice annual cooking classes as well. Thanks go out to our friends at City and Borough of Juneau, too. Through the use of CBJ tax revenue, the CBJ Activities Grant pays for much of our monthly match activities.
