The Greater Sitka Arts Council wishes to update community members interested in the 8th annual Wearable Art Show, scheduled for two shows at the Sitka Performing Arts Center March 26, with a dress rehearsal March 25. The new information about participating in the show is that artists may request a color background or slide for their model(s) while on the stage. Organizers need the information on the color or an image of the slide three weeks in advance. The application for the show may be found at www.thinkartthinksitka.com and is due Feb 29, for the March 26 show.
The official title of the show is Alaska Airlines Wearable Arts Runway Show, presented by the Greater Sitka Arts Council.
