The Rotary clubs of Juneau would like to thank the community for the success of the Southeast Food Bank Food Drive, held on March 12. This effort involved all three local Rotary clubs as well as the young adult Rotaract Club. The one day drive brought in over 11,200 pounds of food for the Food Bank, surpassing last years drive by over 3,000 pounds! These donations are critical to maintain enough food on hand at the Food Bank to assist the thousands of local people in need. Thank you Safeway, Fred Meyer, Juneau Foodland IGA and Super Bear IGA for your help hosting the event.
