JDHS grad earns honors at Colgate University

Momin Razzaque, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2023, has earned the fall 2021 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence, the university announced.

Razzaque is a political science major at Colgate from Juneau, and is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé.

Students who receive a GPA of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses earn the recognition, according to the university.

Student from Juneau is eligible to graduate from Utah State

Lyndsey Jensen from Juneau is a candidate to graduate from Utah State University with a certificate of proficiency in commercial driver’s license, the university announced. Jensen is eligible to earn a degree from USU Eastern and is among the 6,588 students eligible to receive degrees and certificates from USU’s statewide campuses or USU Online, according to the university.
