Producer turns froyo into Goldie

Rik Pruett, Southeast Production Manager for the Creative Services department of Denali Media, owners of local NBC affiliate KATH, was honored with an Alaska Broadcasters Association Goldie Award in the division two category of “Best Television Commercial $500 or Less” for his work producing an advertisement for local business client Juno Froyo. Remarks accompanying the award included “Good use of color, graphics and video.” Mr. Pruett, who has been with KATH-TV for 19 years, has won three Goldies overall and has received the top award in the category for two consecutive years, taking home a Goldie last year for his commercial highlighting Adventure Bound Alaska’s Tracy Arm Cruise.
