The senators of the 29th Alaska Legislature thanks the city of Juneau for its hospitality and offers special thanks to all of the many volunteers from the Alaska Committee, the City and Borough of Juneau, the Chamber of Commerce and the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau who made the 31st annual welcoming reception such a success.
The city of Juneau has for many years extended a kind welcome to Alaska’s legislatures and staff members who make the capital city their second home.
The annual Community Welcome Reception is a much-anticipated and appreciated event. The gift baskets prepared for legislators are prized, and they allow us to sample the variety of products and services that local businesses provide.
