JYS thanks all who supported Juneau Youth Gallery Walk

Juneau Youth Services would like to thank the following people for their generous donations of time, space and hard work to make the first annual Juneau Youth Gallery Walk happen!

Thank you Neil and Charity MacKinnon for allowing us to use the space — wow, not enough words to thank you sufficiently; Juneau Tours for the beautiful posters and support of Juneau’s youth; the Hutchinson Family for all their time, dedication and talent;

Without your support and the support of the phenomenal young artists–Hal Thurman, Katie Buchanan and Laurie Balstad of the Juneau-Douglas High School AP art class, who agreed to lend their art work in order to support the importance of children having an opportunity to express what they often cannot convey through words — we would not have had a successful show!

Thank you for helping JYS highlight how precious, vulnerable and resilient some of our youngest community members are, and with a little support, who they might become.
