Helping Hands volunteers would like to thank all the members of JESS for considering us and for the very successful food drive you had for us.
We are staffed with all volunteers who continuously pick up donated items at our local stores. Twice weekly we invite the public to our warehouse for distribution of these donated items. Over 600 people come through our doors every month. It is a resource to many individuals within our community who do not have the means to go to the store and purchase necessary items for their family.
I would like to include the classified staff, nurses, health assistants, maintenance, custodial staff, paraeducators, administration staff, secretaries, payroll, RALLY, librarians and IT.
We appreciate all the help and hard work you put into this food drive. It was a wonderful total of 1,015 pounds of food for Helping Hands. Your overwhelming generosity is greatly appreciated by all of us at Helping Hands.
