Alaska senators thank the Juneau community
The senators of the 31st Alaska Legislature wish to thank the city of Juneau for its hospitality and offer a special thank you to the many volunteers from the Alaska Committee, the City and Borough of Juneau, the Chamber of Commerce and the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau who made the annual welcome reception a rousing success.
The city of Juneau for many years has extended a kind and special welcome to Alaska’s legislators and staff members who make the capital city our second home.
The annual community welcome reception is a much anticipated and appreciated event. The gift baskets prepared for legislators are prized and allow us to sample the variety of products and services that are provided by local businesses.
