The Alaska Journal of Commerce, owned by Morris Communications which is the parent company of the Juneau Empire, released its choices for Top 40 Under 40 for 2016, naming Juneau residents Luke Fanning and John Blasco.
Fanning, 34, is the vice president and regional branch manager of Juneau’s First National Bank.
Blasco, 33, is the vice president and commercial loan officer of Northrim Bank’s Juneau branch.
The group was selected by Journal management out of nearly 130 nominations with members from Anchorage, Dillingham, Fairbanks, Kodiak, Kotzebue, Juneau, Kenai, Seward and North Pole.
The Top 40 Under 40 recipients will be recognized in a special publication by the Alaska Journal of Commerce and during an awards reception and dinner beginning at 6 p.m. on April 8 at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage.
