Arrest

At 10:57 p.m. on Tuesday, 52-year-old Richard Charles Brommels was arrested on Teal Street on three felony warrants. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Assist

At 5:50 p.m. on Monday, Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into a report of child abuse in the Juneau area.

At 3:46 p.m. on Monday, JDP investigated the death of an 84-year-old man on H Street. The man’s death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Conditions Violation

At 10:17 p.m. on Monday, 33-year-old Michael David Friedrichs was arrested on Canyon Drive for violating a protective order. He was taken to LCCC.

Motor Vehicle Crash without Injury

At 3:38 p.m. on Monday, a 22-year-old woman reported her vehicle was struck while parked on D Street, which caused damage to the driver’s side door.

At 6:17 p.m. on Monday, a Toyota Sedan driven by an 82-year-old man struck the median at the corner of Egan Drive and Riverside Drive.

Theft

At 5:29 p.m. on Monday, JPD investigated the reported theft of a number of construction-related items on Concrete Way.

Trespassing

At 5:04 p.m. on Monday, JPD conducted an investigation into a report of a stolen backpack and its contents on Peters Lane.

At 9:10 p.m. on Monday, 28-year-old Ryan Matthew Travelstead was cited and released for criminal trespassing on Willoughby Avenue.
