Death Investigation

At 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 57-year-old male. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Driving While Intoxicated

At 7:11 a.m. on Tuesday, 37-year-old Kristopher Nelson was arrested for driving while intoxicated and misconduct involving a weapon on Douglas Highway. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Trespassing

At 2:14 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a 20-year-old female trespassing on Douglas Highway.

At 10:38 p.m. on Tuesday, 45-year-old Chawn Dale Summerall was arrested on Teal Street on a $5,000 warrant on an original charge of first-degree assault and also charged with two counts of trespassing.
