Child Abuse or Neglect

At 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Juneau Police Department received a confidential report of child abuse or neglect.

Disabled Vehicle

At 11:27 a.m. on Thursday, a 33-year-old female reported her vehicle’s tires had been slashed during the past few days.

Domestic Dispute

At 10:24 p.m. on Thursday, a 41-year-old female reported she was assaulted by a 60-year-old male on Glacier Highway. Domestic violence was a factor.

Sex Crime

At 4:24 p.m. on Thursday, JPD received a confidential report of sexual abuse.

Shoplifting

At 3:39 p.m. on Thursday, 45-year-old Kristina Benson was cited and released for concealment of merchandise on Willoughby Avenue.

Traffic Stop

At 1:29 a.m. on Thursday, 32-year-old Jesus Bernardo Varela Tablas was cited and released for reckless driving on Mendenhall Loop Road.

Trespassing

At 1:51 a.m. on Thursday, 35-year-old Sir Vincent Murrain was arrested for criminal trespass on Whittier Street. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
