Death

At 7:39 p.m. on Sunday, Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into the death of a 63-year-old woman in the Juneau area. According to police, next of kin has been notified.

Driving While Intoxicated

At 3:14 p.m. on Sunday, 69-year-old Phillip Ray Melendrez was arrested on Mendenhall Loop Road for driving while intoxicated and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 8:16 p.m. on Sunday, 33-year-old Rebecca Jo Barrick was arrested on Amalga Street for driving while intoxicated. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

Theft

At 7:48 p.m. on Sunday, a 19-year-old man reported the theft of his cellphone on Trout Street.
