Arrest

At 1:15 p.m. on Friday, 32-year-old Devonne Merculiff was arrested on Teal Street on an Alaskan State Trooper warrant issued for violating conditions of release. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 2:52 a.m. on Saturday, 44-year-old Jeremy Barney Willard was arrested on Egan Drive for disorderly conduct.

Assist

At 8:22 p.m. on Thursday, Juneau Police Department responded to assist Capital City Fire/Rescue on Front Street.

Attempt to Serve

At 9:29 a.m. on Friday, 67-year-old Robert Swanson was arrested on Nugget Drive on a no-bail warrant issued for failure to appear to Lemon Creek Correctional Center for the original charge of driving while intoxicated. He was taken to LCCC.

At 3:17 p.m. on Friday, 25-year-old Marco Martinez was arrested on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive on six warrants for failure to appear and violating conditions of release for the original charge of driving without a license, driving while intoxicated and petition to revoke probation. He was taken to LCCC.

At 2:43 p.m. on Saturday, 38-year-old Kenneth Demmert was arrested on Cinema Drive on a warrant issued for failure to appear on the original charge of a fifth-degree misconduct involving controlled substance. He was taken to LCCC.

Burglary

At 6:26 p.m. on Thursday, a 59-year-old man reported a burglary at his residence on Glacier Highway.

Child Abuse

At 4: 14 p.m. on Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into possible child abuse in the Juneau area.

Death

At 8:32 a.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated the death of a 44-year-old man. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Disturbance

At 10:39 p.m. on Thursday, 42-year-old Christopher West was arrested on Glacier Highway for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release. West was taken to LCCC.

At 11:16 p.m. on Saturday, 30-year-old Stevie Mayville was arrested on 10th Street for disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release. Mayville was taken to LCCC.

Domestic Dispute

At 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, JPD conducted an investigation into a reported assault on Nugget Drive.

Motor Vehicle Crash without Injury

At 1:12 p.m. on Thursday, a 54-year-old woman reported her vehicle was struck on Glacier Highway. It was reported that the other driver left a note with their contact information.

Sex Crime

At 4:17 p.m. on Saturday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a reported sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Shoplifting

At 12:28 p.m. on Thursday, a 32-year-old woman reported a subject stole merchandise from a business on Willoughby Avenue.

Traffic Stop

At 10:11 p.m. on Thursday, a gray SUV failed to stop at the direction of a police officer on Ross Way.

At 2:11 p.m. on Friday, 39-year-old Carson Knight was arrested on Lemon Creek Road for driving while license revoked and was taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 8:41 a.m. on Saturday, 45-year-old Joshua Amos was arrested on Jordan Avenue for driving while license revoked. 42-year-old Jolie Locke was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for the original charge of violation of custodian duty. Both Amos and Locke were taken to LCCC.

At 9:25 a.m. on Sunday, 39-year-old John Andrew Murphy was cited and released on Concrete Way for driving without a license.

Theft

At 12:36 p.m. on Thursday, a 40-year-old man reported the theft of medication and cash on Fourth Street.

At 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, a 47-year-old man reported various cards and ID stolen in the Juneau area.

At 7:21 a.m. on Friday, a 44-year-old man reported stolen heating fuel on Pioneer Avenue.

At 1:51 p.m. on Friday, JPD received a report of a shoplifting incident on Glacier Highway.

At 8:16 p.m. on Friday, a welder was stolen from a construction site on Clinton Drive.

At 9:01 a.m. on Saturday, a 62-year-old man reported the theft of construction tools on Glacier Highway.

Welfare Check

At 3:28 p.m. on Thursday, 38-year-old Megan Keeler was arrested on Glacier Highway for driving while intoxicated and was taken to LCCC. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.
