Attempt to Serve

At 1:57 p.m. on Saturday, 31-year-old Kier De Jesus Vergara was arrested on Teal Street on a Juneau Police Department warrant for failure to appear for arraignment for the original charge of assault.

At 2:04 p.m. on Saturday, 41-year-old Jason Paul Budbill was arrested on an Alaska State Trooper warrant for failure to appear for a hearing for the original charge of driving under the influence and on a $50 JPD warrant for the original charge of disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release.

Motor Vehicle Crash without Injury

At 7:37 p.m. on Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident on Gold Street.

At 7:05 p.m. on Friday, a 2004 Mercury struck a 2015 Toyota and a handrail belonging to a residence on Fifth Street. The driver of the Mercury was not located.

Theft

At 12:32 p.m. on Friday, a 31-year-old man reported a stolen camo-colored Coleman BT200X mountain bike in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Smoking Violation

At 8:16 p.m. on Saturday, three juveniles were cited for smoking on Glacier Avenue.

Traffic Complaint

At 2:49 p.m. on Thursday, 57-year-old Max Guthert was arrested and later released on Douglas Highway for driving while license was suspended.

Traffic Stop

At 10:55 p.m. on Friday, 39-year-old Carson Oryan Knight was arrested and later released for driving without a license on Egan Drive. He was also cited for no proof of insurance and expired registration.

At 1:14 a.m. 39-year-old Carson Oryan Knight and 38-year-old Melinda Sue Carle were cited and released for driving without a license on Glacier Highway.
