Police calls for Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022

Assist

At 3:02 a.m. on Monday, Juneau Police Department assisted Capital City Fire and Rescue in responding to a fire in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

At 9:09 a.m. on Monday, JPD created a case to document an agency assist in the Juneau area.

Disturbance

At 10:58 p.m. on Monday, 65-year-old Roy Raymond Peters Jr. was arrested in the 1900 block of Allen Court for second-degree assault. It was determined that alcohol was a factor in this case and Peters was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Harassment

At 3:17 p.m. on Sunday, a 53-year-old man reported a 49-year-old man was harassing him in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

Motor Vehicle Crash Damage Only

At 3:47 p.m. on Sunday, 38-year-old William Francis Cole was arrested in the 4400 block of Kanata Street for driving while under the influence. Cole was taken to LCCC.

At 9:23 a.m. on Monday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Basin Road. No injuries were reported.

Theft

At 9:34 a.m. on Monday, a 58-year-old man reported $2100 worth of outdoor clothing and gear was stolen in the 1400 block of Harbor Way.
