Recent births at Barlett Regional Hospital:

• On Feb. 9, a son, Henry Isamu Akiyama II, weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces, was born to Manamaya Gurung-Akiyama and Alan Akiyama of Juneau.

• On Feb. 16, a daughter, Eleanor Aurora Russell, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces, was born to Kathryn and Ryan Russell of Juneau.
