BC filmmaker travels to Juneau for discussion

A Vancouver, British Columbia-based filmmaker will be giving a talk about her film after a free showing at the Goldtown Nickelodeon.

Linda Ohama will be presenting “New Moon Over Tohoku” from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14.

Her film is about the rebuilding efforts after the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami, including help from Alaska fishermen.

Ohama will lead a discussion afterwards. Free, with donations accepted to defray costs.
