Bobby Cox and Donavin McCurley each have home runs. Cox hit a three-run shot in the second inning, and McCurley rounded the bases with an inside-the-park home run in the top of the fourth inning
Juneau made it to the semifinal game of the BP Invitational Tournament last week in Anchorage, losing to Auburn (Rhode Island) on Sunday. Juneau was 3-0 at that point, defeating Dimond 9-2 on Friday before pulling out tightly-contested wins over South, 7-6, and Napoleon, Ohio, 7-3, the following day.
