Player of the Week: Noah Loseby

Catch him if you can.

Noah Loseby is the Juneau Empire’s player of the week.

Loseby, a junior at Thunder Mountain High School, won both of his individual events at the Region V Swim and Dive Championships last weekend. First, Loseby out-touched the competition in the 50-yard freestyle with his winning time of 23.37 seconds, 0.61 seconds in front of second place.

Later Saturday, the Falcon topped the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.55 seconds. The second-place swimmer finished in 58.22 seconds.

The TMHS swim team concluded its season this weekend at the state meet in Anchorage.
