Attempt To Serve

At 1:37 p.m. on Tuesday, 32-year-old Derrick Esguerra was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive on two $5,000 warrants and charged with escape from a prior case. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, a 57-year-old male was arrested on Glacier Highway on a Juneau Police Department warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of trespassing. He was taken to LCCC.

Found Property

At 1:34 p.m. on Tuesday, a wallet belonging to a 45-year-old male was turned in to JPD.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 5:32 p.m. on Tuesday, 37-year-old Ryan Cook was arrested on Glacier Highway on a $1,000 warrant for violating conditions of release on an original charge of vehicle theft. He was taken to LCCC.

At 11:08 a.m. on Tuesday, 63-year-old Jeffrey Carpenter was cited and released for trespassing on Willoughby Avenue.

Police Assist

At 9:28 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD began an investigation into the death of a 62-year-old man on Engineers Cutoff Road. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

At 12:34 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD assisted pre-trial enforcement with a remand.
