Nickerson, Fritz wed

Kathryn Nickerson and Evan Fritz of Juneau were wed on Saturday, May 28, at Glacier Gardens and a reception followed at the Juneau Yacht Club.

The bride is the daughter of Cynthia and Neil Nickerson of Juneau. The groom is the son of Catherine and William Fritz, also of Juneau.

The wedding was officiated by Jan Blankenship. Amy Nickerson, Heather Purves, Rachelle Bonnett and Traci Ferguson-Hayes were bridesmaids while Henry Decherney, Trevor Fritz, Andy Fritz and David Bernstein were the groomsmen. Isla Hayes was the flower girl and Skylar Hayes served as the ring bearer.

Kathryn graduated Juneau-Douglas High School and attended the University of Oregon. She currently works at the Juneau Empire and Capital City Weekly.

Evan also graduated JDHS, and then he attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He currently works at the Department of Fish and Game.

The Fritzes will make their home in Juneau.
