Decision comes after six month search.

Skip Elliott, president of Elliott Financial Managment, Inc. (EFM) announced Wednesday that EFM will join Alexandria Capital, LLC (ACAP). The partnership became effective Nov. 15.

EFM is an Alaska registered investment advisor that provides financial and investment advisory services to foundations, municipalities, businesses, individuals and families. FP Transitions aided EFM in the search for partner and eventual heir apparent. The effort lasted over six months and atttracted more than 95 firm inquiries, which were narrowed down to three finalists for in-person meetings before ACAP was ultimately selected.

“After learning about Skip and his clients, it became apparent that they are the kinds of people we wanted to work with and serve,” Alexandria Capital CEO and Co-Managing Partner, Augustine Hong said.
